Déjà Vu Flowers & Gifts is the creation of Meagan Evans, an experienced florist and designer with more than 20 years in the floral industry. For Meagan, floristry has always been more than a job. It is colour, form, creativity, feeling and the joy of creating something beautiful. After completing a Certificate III in Floristry and a Certificate III in Applied Design, Meagan was named Student of the Year at WorldSkills as part of her floristry training. From there, she worked with one of Melbourne’s leading florists and went on start her own business, Prickly Pear Flowers in Port Melbourne. After a pause for family and a move to Cairns, Meagan is returning to her passion and deep love of the craft at Déjà Vu Flowers & Gifts.
The name Déjà Vu Flowers & Gifts carries personal meaning. After stepping away from floristry to focus on family, Meagan has returned to flowers with fresh energy, passion and purpose. For Meagan, this is her déjà vu moment: a return to something familiar, meaningful and deeply loved, shaped by more than two decades of experience in flowers, design and creative styling. Created here in Trinity Beach, Déjà Vu brings together everything Meagan loves about floristry: beautiful blooms, thoughtful gifts, considered presentation and the joy of helping people celebrate life’s special moments.
